One Journey Ends...

It has been along time coming, two years of sleepless nights, not seeing my husband much, and just hoping, this is all going to be worth it! Well the day has come, and I can not even explain the feeling. Nursing School is over, my boards are done! I finally PASSED them. It was an amazing feeling to get that small white packet in the mail saying you passed.

I took my boards last Monday morning, and walked out of there feeling hopeless and completely turn apart. I can not even tell you where exactly the computer shut off, it was somewhere between 106-110 questions. When that computer shut off, I just sat there staring at the computer, what does this mean? Did I pass, did I fail? And the waiting began, 24 hours of torture. Thankfully I have a wonderful husband, and he keep me occupied. Tuesday morning I just kept hitting refresh on the State of Arizona Nursing Board website, and finally I hit refresh one last time, and there is was an RN number next to my name!!! I was home by myself and all I could do was cry, I just let the tears stream. They were tears of exhaustion, joy, feeling blessed, thankful, and relief.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who was so loving, gracious and offered encouragement throughout this crazy process. Thank you Todd!!! Thank you Mom and Dad!!! Thank you second Mom (Vivian) and Dad (Bill)!!! Thank you Tishy!!! Thank you Pastor Lee, Mikki, Grandma, Poppie, Grandma Moore, Stacy and Denise. And I can not forget my nursing girls, Christy, Summer, Kavin, and Kim. I am so blessed to have each of you in my life.
